This gorgeous Charlie Brear dress consists of three parts, the Haliton dress, a Voulaire overlay (the lace part) and an ivory crepe sash which I wore just above the waist.
The dress was purchased from The White Closet in Didsbury for £2,543 (Haliton - £1,495, Voulaire - £848, Sash - £200), Manchester and worn in July 2018 and I absolutely loved wearing it! It is very light with lots of movement, so I didn't feel restricted at all on the day or weighed down like lots of other dresses I tried on. I got so many compliments on the day from people saying the dress was beautiful and they wish they had a dress like it for their wedding! I am upset to part with it, I planned to dye the Haliton dress to make a new evening gown, and wear the Voulaire overlay as a luxury nightgown. However, need to sell for a new baby arrival!
The dress is a size 8 and I had cups sewn into the dress (these could be easily removed). I am usually a size 34B but I also wore a nude stick-on bra for a bit extra cleavage. I imagine it would also fit a 34C. I am 5ft 6 and wore 2 inch heels.
The dress has been professional cleaned and stored away from natural light (to protect the colour) in dress bag. We also don't have pets or smoke. I would send dress by premium recorded delivery.
More about each part:
The Haliton dress is a dress in its own right and is normally available from the designer directly on its own. However I wanted a bit more "wow" factor so purchased the overlay to go over the top. Later in the evening I decided to take off the overlay and wear the Haliton on its own (can be seen in the dancing picture). I got lots of compliments from guests saying how they liked the Haliton on its own too. Plus, it means you can have two looks on your wedding day!
There are two very very small marks on the dress - 3/4 of the way down the dress. I promise they are hardly noticeable and would be invisible when worn with Voulaire overlay. I have uploaded pictures of both next to a 5
