About John and Sophie - Bride2Bride creators and recently married peoples
Bride2Bride was created by me (Sophie) & my husband John (yes, that is us in the photo grinning like loons and getting showered with confetti and rice!)
I had the idea for the Bride2Bride whilst planning our wedding in 2010 when I realised that there wasn’t an easy, free way to buy and sell wedding items. I had in my mind a vision of exactly how I wanted such a website to work, but I just couldn’t find it anywhere – available sites either weren’t dedicated to weddings, charged to use them or both!
After a considerable period of John hiding in the bedroom staring at a screen to make my idea a reality, in August 2011 Bride2Bride was born.
