It's a lovely dress, slightly informal - being not floor-length, with no train. Ruching and beading give it a bit of detail and interest without being too fancy. I wanted something simple and fairly informal, my husband wanted it to look like 'a wedding dress' - this did the job nicely.

Description from Venus website:
Curve neck all over lace with criss cross ruching. Entire gown accented with scattered beads. Narrow A-line skirt. Beaded trim on neckline continues towards lace up back.
Dress, with wide straps attached
Dress carrier (couple of small holes) and hanger
There is a slight tear in the lace, right at the bottom where the lace is scalloped (I trod on it...). It would not be noticeable unless you were holding the lace in your hands looking for it - no one would see the tear when you're wearing the dress. See the photo.
The very bottom of the lace is slightly dirty from being worn but again not noticeable unless you're holding it in your hands. Because the dress did not touch the floor, it survived very well.
Dress was originally a size 12 I think, altered to make it slightly slimmer. I'm a 10, verging on a 12 but it's lace up so there's flexibility on size there.
It was also shortened to fit me, skimming across the top of my shoes - I'm about 5 foot 3.
Lastly, I had some wider straps added. The dress came with removable thin straps (which are included in this sale). The new straps are sewn on but would be very easily removed. This gives you three strap options: wide (as in photo), thin, or strapless (as in Venus photos).
I wore the dress with the back panel in (and slightly wonky) but this can be removed - it's a hook and eye job.
